Dogs are social animals like us, and they need company to feel safe and happy.

Now, Tinker had recently gone through that heartbreak when her owners made the decision to take her to a shelter here in Florida. When she discovered that she was utterly alone behind four kennel walls, she immediately disconnected from the world, averting all faith in life…
A Scene That Split The Most Stony Heart
In case you don’t already know, Tinker was a dog featured in an emotional video that went viral and had everyone on the internet crying thanks to Dali, a South Florida animal rescuer who is already known for sharing sad dog stories on her TikTok account.
In a little cage, facing the wall and sitting there like a statue for hours, she displayed this little furball.

“That happens with dogs once they have been so long in the shelter. Even Tinker is losing faith that anyone will take her home. Dali wrote that she would sit in front of the wall for hours on end.
For Tinker, her family had recently died and this meant Tinker was completely and utterly all alone in this world, never ever going to find home.
Worse yet, this poor girl has continued to be passed by over and over in the shelter due to her being labeled aggressive by the meet and greet people. Tinker is actually, believe it or not, not a trouble maker at all. Mickey is the most cuddliest girl but won’t allow you to pick her up.
Tinker has been through some trauma, and since scooping someone up is threatening in her world, she is misinterpreted by many as aggressive.
However, Saving Sage Animal Rescue, a Lauderhill, Florida, based organization, does everything it can to ensure that she and her canine friends are as comfortable as can be — even though it can indeed, at times, be a tough task.
In her kennel, Tinker is inconsolable, and she spends most of her time here while she hopes for things to change.

Tinker gradually came out of her shell, little by little. By providing just a little TLC and waiting for the right moment, she revealed her true colors, and proved to be a true lovebug.

Such a video by Dali had left thousands shaken to the core. A lot of viewers just did not understand how this sweet, cute, fluffy-looking dog was not being picked up by people. The tale of Tinker lit up TikTok, and a good many people put their hands up to take this lovely lady home.
“Where are you located? Please send information. Another user wrote, “I want to adopt her.
“I’ll take her. Where is she,” another added.
The turning point for Tinker was a video that went viral and changed her life. A couple days later, their family contacted SSAR, wanting to meet this little girl.
Of course — Tinker was beaming!
She got along with the family immediately, and within hours she was in a new home. These days, she is happier than she has ever been!
