All dogs just want to be cuddled up with mom or dad and know they are loved. This is how they envision joy.
Sadly, there are so many strays that do mission to be, but away they wind up stripped of the adoration that all dogs crave. The dogs should be full of joy, but sadness in their hearts speaks through their eyes.
Explorer’s eyes whispered of hurt feelings and heartbreak after being tied to a crate and dumped in a park.
The naughty dog was left in a total mess, and he kept looking up at the ground with a sad face.
A Heartbreaking Scene
Tiffany Maki, a former dog rescuer, was just about to leave the park with her pups when she spied a small, lonely dog sitting in the grass at the entrance.
This dog was tied next to a crate folded up, which saddened Maki when she spotted it.
The pooch had been dumped while Maki was at the park with her dogs and because he was not there when she got home, Maki knew the dog was dumped.
The puppy, now known as Explorer, appeared very mistrustful and continued to bark at people passing by.
Little did anyone know the rescuer, knowing full well from experience that a frightened doggo had no intent to harm anyone.

Explorer was just a brooding and troubled end-boy who did not know what was happening.
Well, the scared little guy was defending himself and making himself feel secure.
When I would approach closer, he would bark and charge at me to enforce that I remain at bay. No one else would have likely tried to catch him due to potentially being bitten,” Maki said.
Maki decided that she was going to help him.
She stuck close with him and spoke with him until he fell for her.
Explorer suddenly recognized that his rescuer was there to rescue him and allowed her to put a leash over his neck.

Explorer’s Luck Changes
So Maki brings him home, and gets to enjoy him turning into a cute boi.
Explorer allowed her to stroke him, and his eyes shone with hope and appreciation. Then soaked up all her love and cuddles.
He [was the sweetest dog and so well trained] when we got home. He was crate and potty trained, [could] sit [and] shake, lay down, roll over, beg, heel. Maki said: “At some point he was someone whom someone loved.
Maki contacted the rescuers, and she was able to get Explorer placed at Schnauzer Rescue of Texas in Houston.
Maki took the pooch to the rescue’s vet after he stayed the night at her home. Explorer was vaccinated.

He was then sent to his foster home in Woodlands, Texas where he got plenty of love.
The fluffy personality began his search for a forever home.
Explorer was soon in an awesome home who couldn’t wait to shower him with kisses and love him forever!
This sweet puppy is feeling safe and comfortable in his new home. He soaks in all the love his new family provides.
