Now if there is one thing that you will be unable to deny about dogs – It has to be their loyalty! Taken from our local Minneapolis animal shelter security camera a video about two Pittie girls who just connected and bonded instantly and will have that bond for the rest of their lives!
Going by Pittie Brenda, she did not appreciate the arrangement, whereby she and her street buddy, Linda, were planted at a spot next to each other. Now they were separated, but put in adjoining kennels as they could not be together like before…
And then what happened next melted every heart in the kennel…
The Two Pitties Off The Streets
These bonded sisters were Pit bull girls and they were found together running the streets of Minneapolis. Milwaukee Animal Shelter helped coordinate temporary shelter for these dogs with Minneapolis Animal Care & Control, who rescued the two.

The MACC staff placed these Pittie girls in the kennels but separated them, unaware of how strong of a bond there was. However, Brenda was not at all pleased with the arrangement!
For all intents and purposes, she leaped a five-foot cement wall to remain near her friend next door.
That Unseen Bond
The next day when the MACC volunteers arrived for work, they discovered Brenda in Linda’s kennel — and didn’t have a clue what transpired!
They checked the security camera footage and it turned out that Brenda had jumped over the wall to play with her shelter friend!

They were all amazed by this adorable act by Brenda who, as the supervisor of the MACC Danielle Joerge explains, did not want to be separated from her street friend for a second.
Eventually, the shelter staff transferred the Pitties to a larger kennel so they could spend time together at all times. They released the security footage of it to their followers a bit later, and they were bombarded with thousands of ‘broken heart’ emojis from people all over the states.
Little did they realise when making this video that so many people would want to adopt these two girls! The only stipulation, however, was that they must be adopted together, because they never wanted Brenda and Linda to be separated again.
Kathy Walker and her husband screened the next day after the video came up and adopted these Pittie girls into a furever home!
The Bright Side
The Minneapolis couple had recently lost their wonderful dog, Sampson. Not really thinking about getting another dog for sometime, they watched a video about Brenda and Linda and decided to go and meet them in shelter.
Then, after just THIRTY MINUTES with these two sweet Pitties, they filled out the application and took them home to dote on!

I did not want another dog the day before.” Our dog had just passed away after thirteen and a half years… I was just thinking to myself, the fact that she has to care for her buddy; I mean, you know, this is dumb, but I was like, ‘My Sampson had something to do with this.'”
Brenda and Linda are living their best lives hanging out with their new pawrents now that they get to spend every waking moment with their friend. And only after all these years did they get what they always craved — somewhere that made them feel fulfilled, where they could finally be happy and be who they were meant to be!
Kathy was asked if she feared Brenda jumping fences familiarity and she said:
“I don×t think she will be one of those escape artists because as long as she can see Linda she is fine!”
We congratulate them on their life together and best wishes for the many memories yet to be created!
