Disney’s 101 Dalmatians came true for a Dalmatian breedr when her dog gave birth to an unusual amount all at once.
And almost every breeder’s dream is to have such a number of puppies, provided they are all born well.
However, receiving such a number of puppies is also a difficulty, especially for the doggo mommy who needs to breastfeed all of them.
One puppy, two puppies….
Cecilia Langton Bunkrgot has been a dog breeder for nearly 30 years. She was there for the birth of countless healthy puppies. She always had a commitment to delivering the best Dalmatian puppies to her customers.
But her business was never purely for profit — she had a deep love for this breed.
Most of the doggos from CC Dalmatians (her breeding biz) became champions and show canines, and as such, she wanted her first-time mom, Miley, owned by Jade Martn, to be bred with AstroWonderBoy.
Cecilia and Jade made sure to keep an eye on Miley during her pregnancy and brought her to the vet regularly, where they learned out that Miley was pregnant with three pups.
Both breeders were very interested in the news. They were equally shocked during Miley’s labour, as were the vets, when puppies started to come out.
The vets lost count as the puppies kept coming, until eighteen tiny Dalmatians filled the room.
As Cecilia told 9News:
“We got to 16 and thought [the mother] was done after 13 and a half hours of labour […] It was quite amazing she popped-out another two, giving a world record and Australian record. “I was shocked to see so many.

All Jade Martin was looking for was a puppy for her daughter, Lulu, but she didnot expect her to also have 18 siblings.
Once Lulu selected her pup, Cecilia put the others into her breeding kennel.
The vet checked out all the pooches and they are in great shape. As much as it was a great experience, both owners joked that they won’t be doing that ever again for Miley, who’s been a great mother for them.

Cecilia had some great times with them, and they provided joy for a short time, but eventually, it all came to an end, as the puppies were sold, but they will always be known as the 18 famous pups.
