All pet owners know it can be tough to be able to tell when your four-legged friends are feeling poorly. As a part of evolution, the majority of animals, in particular dogs and cats, have learned how to hide pain or disguise that they are not feeling well.
Imagine how difficult it must be for a stray animal to signal there is an issue?
Not surprising really, for such is the nature of one street dog that walked the streets for a long time many years ago, the paw was injured, and it hurt.
But this furry guy chose to get some assistance. It was a no-brainer, yet a surprising one for many — in a good way of course — even from the fortunate one.
He was afraid
For veterinarian, Daysa Ferreira da Silva, it was just another day at work at her Vet Vip Clinic. She was finishing up with one patient and preparing to take on the next, a lap dog in its owners lap on the other side of the room.
But in that moment something happened that she did not predict. Then a black stray dog appeared at the door. He stood just inside for a moment watching.
Just as they believed that he had arrived due to his inquisitive nature and that he would soon pass through the door, he instead approached the counter where Ferreira stood.
He limped his way to halfway, where he stopped. This seasoned vet, while taken aback, knew exactly what it was in no time
Ferreira told The Dodo, “When he came in, he brought forward the paw that had the injury, as if to say hello and that he was in pain. “He knew where to ask for help, so we were taken aback.
Ferreira wasted no time inviting the poor pup in, and she almost immediately took him outside to show him in which direction he needed to keep going to find assistance. While he had developed an incredible faith in this good-will-woman.

Check Up At The Clinic
Ferreira encaged this dog in the operating room to see him. The dog presented her with his paw, injured but offered without hesitation, as if they had known each other for decades. Upon further examination, it was nothing serious and Ferreira could breathe a sigh of relief.
Still, she chose to get a complete examination of the dog — and upon discovering something far worse than a simple paw injury, Ferreira seemed to have known what she would find.
She told him he had a transmissible venereal tumor. But, she was ecstatic as this breed of tumor is 100% curable and is also quite common among stray dogs.
But then again — if he had just not been on the hook for the examination, who knows where things would have ended up.
He probably would never have got a second chance at life! That added an extra layer of significance to this event.
Ferreira promptly put him in the hospital and administered a 30-day course of the chemotherapy to clean out the wounds – one he handled just fine.
Before long, dingy little Quindim — as Ferreira named the pooch — was healthy as a horse and, better yet.
“He doesn’t even look sick. The Dodo Ferreira told. “He is just so happy to be around people who cared for him.
However, that was the icing on the cake.
The Most Sought After Mutt
Ferreira shared the video of Quindim entering (as captured on surveillance cameras) on Facebook. In no time, the tale of the stray doggo who entered the vet clinic to seek assistance from humans went insane viral on the web.
And as it almost always happens, success makes things easier, so it was with Quindim.
Many questions about its adoption began to be received at the address of the clinic. Realizing this dog needed help was obvious, other than keeping this dog alive, which was in serious danger of losing its life.
He experienced one life-changing visit and shortly afterwards found his happiness. Approximately 1 year after this fantastic event, Vet Vip Clinic is remembered for its Instagram profile.
Speaking of Quindim, the owner had previously shared: “The day he took the world 😍 today all love and snuggles with his family, Quindim is putting weight on and doing well 🙏 🐶”
And if now his health goes haywire, dont have to worry to his parents. Quindim already has got himself an order for a veterinary.
Sadly, not every dog is able to experience the joy of a loving owner who simply loves them. Sadly, many dogs never experience what love is; they live their whole lives being abused and mistreated.
Today’s story pooch is an exception to this. Three-months old Tich lived his whole life under the eye of a vile owner who failed to give him the life he was entitled to.
He was traumatized, maltreated, and perhaps both, and as a suitable consequence, the child was afflicted by anxiety and depression.
Fortunately for Tich, he decided that he could no longer stand such a horrible life, so he escaped his frightening owner and found someone who actually cared for him.
Escaped Pup
The moment Tich escaped an abusive home, he met an amazing hooman who instantly recognized that something was wrong.
The human connected some dots and figured out that the dog was scared and needed him when the hooman realized.
He wasted not a second picking up the pup and removing him to safety.
He rushed Tich off to the vet to check whether he had any injuries. He was infested with ticks, further demonstrating the neglect he was suffering, but fortunately he did not suffer from any broken bones.
Tich was super patient and relaxed while getting an extensive checkup. He even started playing in the exam room with the vet.
Then, after a good bath and yummy food, he started to understand that he was finally in a secure spot, and he started to wag his tail vigorously.
They saw him for the puppy he was, the puppy wanting so much to be loved and knew he was ready to find his forever home.
New Life
Before long, Tich came across some humans who, after Tich told them all about it, found it hard to believe that anyone could do something like this to a little gentleman like Tich – well, Tich future had never done anything to deserve this, and he had a pretty good idea what other dogs would have done – they would have told humans to take a long walk off a short pier.
The family adopted him because they knew they could offer him a loving home, making him the cutest addition to their loving family.
Finally, Tich is safe with people he can trust who remind him by their every interaction that he is worthy of love and attention.
He came completely out of his shell and became the sweetest pup out there, just looking to have some fun!
