Dogs have no business getting their hearts broken by the people they love best.
And yet, so many dogs who devoted their lives to their callous families die alone and unwanted.
Bastian the dog was heartbroken after his owner left him at an empty building site after 10 years living together.
With no food or water, the starving pup weakened even more.
It was sad and lonely at night to curl up on a filthy bed that his master kindly left for him. The dog had only one thing to remember: his betrayers, and he treasured it dearly.

A Kind Human Saves The Puppy
Fortunately, Bastian’s neighbor gave a ring to a dog rescuer and informed her about the pooch’s case. Concerned for the little dog, the woman rushed to his help.
When she turned up at the location, Bastian was scrounging through rubbish as best he could in vain for a scrap of food.
Sadness filled the heart of the woman.
It was amazing what condition the doggo was in. Ticks were crawling all over his emaciated body. He could hardly manage to stay on the paws.
As soon as Bastian spotted the rescuer, he began to make his way slowly towards her.
With eyes filled with tears, the pooch stared into woman as if asking her to take him somewhere safe.
The devastated rescuer spoke with Bastian to make sure and soothe Robert that everything would be okay.
Once she had fed the pooch and offered him water, the big-hearted woman did not hesitate to take him to a hospital.
Receiving Urgent Help
Our vet team examined Bastian and provided him with immediate medical care.
As for the malnourished dog, he was diagnosed with severe anaemia and was in critical condition.
He also contracted ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne illness that infects dogs.
Bastian was admitted to the hospital, and treatment commenced.
His rescuer remained beside the pup as the vets worked to save him. With those two thoughts in mind, she cradled Bastian’s paw and gently stroked him, urging him to keep fighting.
Slowly, after a while, Bastian began to improve. The pooch had a good appetite and he tried to walk.
This was more than what his rescuer could write down, and she showered him with lots of love.
The sadness in Bastian’s eyes hadn’t gone away. It takes time for a man to bury his past and believe in a brighter future.
His rescuer purchased him a new bed that he adored.
Finally, his Happily Ever After
Each day passed, and the doggo got stronger.
His hero took him home after Bastian was released from the hospital. She cared for him and spoiled him with love.
My dog Bastian started grinning and wagging his tail at seeing the other person.
Then his giant-hearted caregiver started feeding the pup good food, and he slowly but surely began putting on pounds! His steps became steadier.
His hero, Bastian, had given him a loving family. He had a big smile when he met his mama.
Bastian bade farewell to his rescuer before settling in with his new family.
He opened the best chapter of his life, as sparkled happiness in his beautiful eyes. He was also a faithful dog and had the humans who were worthy of his endless love.
