Sure, a lot of folks believe that they are nothing but animals acting on instinct, but there is more than one instance showing that dogs are so much more than that.
All For The Love Of Humans — Our furry companions are capable of feeling all sorts of things, which we can see in their almost unlimited capacity to love their favourite humans. You see this most in dogs who are conditioned to live in a warm house with a loving family.
But it is most evident when the dog finds himself alone without the ones he trusted most. A bittersweet feeling hard to put into words and one that brings a tear to the eye of any true dog lover.
And that is what has been the reality recently for employees and volunteers of shelters, which are growing fuller and fuller with surrendered dogs. But thousands of others got to watch one such case unfold this time around, and for them, it was more than gut-wrenching.

She Thought They Were Returning
After seven years of living with their family, one day they decided to turn her into the animal shelter. The heartbreak of that moment after they shut the shelter door and what their dog did next was powerful enough to inspire the shelter employees to spread awareness.
In a TikTok video posted by @lovinpet, global, there is an image of a Livestock Guardian dog sitting outside the door to the shelter with a forlorn expression, looking at an employee.
In the video, it was entered: “She wanted to wait at the door way they were returning.” Then again, she is a guardian dog, and she loves the kids.
The shelter employee then went over to the pooch to give her some comfort as the worker said, ‘These dogs feel so much pain when they are handed over to the pound.’
This fine person kept the dog quieter, but of course, this did not mend the deep stab wound by her trusted masters. And that scar will be there for life.
In the video, it was said: “Please love them and protect them until the end.”
Viewers Were Heartbroken
This heart-wrenching video received much attention and made several hearts bleed. Many were also angry towards the owners of the dog who did this to her.
But they got quite a few comments, so we thought we would surface a few.

While there are plenty of valid reasons as to why a person is giving up their dog, there are some reasons that are not valid at all. But, if it can be avoided at all, it should be.
It is a better solution not to have a dog at all if you think that you are not able to take care of him or if you have to leave him, leave him. It is preferable to wait to give him an adopter or, if you are lucky, an adopter forever.
It is better to sacrifice little things for them than to put a wound on their hearts. Even of Livestock Guardian dog sadness proves that point better than anything.)
