Simply thinking how lost and dejected Archie felt the day he was dumped, breaks my heart.
The doggo had no choice but to lay motionless in a crate on an empty road where he was dumped, having sustained such a serious injury that he couldn’t move at all.
Archie looked out at the passing cars with eyes of huge sadness, watching to see if anyone would pull over and help.
Despite being repeatedly rejected by the drivers, the pup still held on to an itsy bits of hope that a kind soul would come to his rescue.
Archie Meets His Rescuers
These rescuers who spotted Archie cried out for help from the side of a road couldn’t bear to leave him there.
The good humans, who parked their car and dashed to the pup’s side told The Dodo they just felt so awful seeing Archie.
The dog was paralyzed. There were hints of horrendous suffering in those eyes.
The rescue crew placed Archie in their car and sped to the clinic.
The nice people gave the puppy some love in an attempt to cheer him up.
The dog was able to forget everything for a moment, because of their kindness, and a nice smile appeared on his face.
That X-ray confirmed their worst fears: Archie had a broken back.
Also the dog was having some bladder problems.
The vet prescribed Archie some pain killers to help ease the pain, but the doggo just kept crying.
His fellow good people, wanting him to forget the pain he felt, brought him toys and spent some time playing with him.

It worked! All the while Archie was just interested in his toys and eventually he quit whimpering.
Looking On The Positive Side
Archie was surrounded by love during his rehab and all the staff ensured he ate good meals.
Though who knows maybe it was the drugs working but each day Archie was improving, his back legs ceased to be painful, although he did need help at times. He was able to sit.
The dog appreciated the assistance from his human companions.
The pupper was not going to let himself be despairing and thought positively.
Archie began crawling before long and dragging his right back leg, which remained tucked under his body.

His friends cared so much for the dog and wanted to do all they can to ease his pain and make life a little bit more fun.
They had him measured by several experts.
Once tests and analyses were executed, it turned out that Archie had just 5% likelihood of ever walking yet again.
Archie, however, will not have surgery as this could be fatal to the pup so those who care for Archie do not want to even contemplate that option.
They then opted for physical therapy and if they would be able to help him build muscle before Archie was able to move again.
Finding Love
Archie was placed into a medical foster home that could give him the care he needed and lavished him with love.
He was the bestest sweetest boi ever and loved to cuddle with his fosters.
Archie looked on; hope filled his eyes — Thanks to their love He started to dream bigger.
The foster family was concerned the paralyzed dog would not be adopted.
Fortunately, the sweet dog was able to steal the hearts of a beautiful family. So they took him in and made him the happiest boi.
Archie bid farewell to his foster parents.
Those nice guys fell in love with the pup and they could not stop crying.

Elsewhere, they knew Archie would be valued and treasured as he deserved.
The canine was ecstatic because he had found a marvelous family who loved him for everything he was and made him feel worthy of being someone’s pet.
He will never again feel unwanted and hopeless.
