A dog named Chico was confused and terrified when his owner threw him out of a car on a busy road in Signal Hill, California.
The heartbroken pup ran after their car for mile after mile, not understanding that his human had no intention of taking him back.
The ruthless owner does not glance at Chico or care about whether he is in danger.
When the dog jumped to re-enter the vehicle, the driver left without it in heavy traffic.
The video was captured by one of those who were present and had posted a story on Instagram highlighting the scene with Chico.
The devastating video of this incident went viral and people were worried about Chico.
Chico’s Heroes
Busy streets passed_Chico had nowhere to go.
Fear and confusion enveloped him. And the dog was wondering, why did his owner abandon him like all he meant to him was nothing.
It was while scrolling through Instagram that a good woman named Destiny stumbled upon the video of the pup abandoned by his owner who followed their car.
The woman was heartbroken and she understood that she needed to save the pup.
The same day that she went looking for Chico at the aforementioned workplace, said Destiny.
She shared a post of the dog on her Instagram, wishing for someone to have information about Chico.
Fortunately, a Good Samaritan found Chico and told Destiny where they were. With work for her getting in the way, her boyfriend Kevin went to where Chico was last seen and began searching.
After driving around for nearly an hour, the kind man located the devastated pup. Chico barked at him as soon as he laid eyes on him, overcome with fear.
He still imagined that no one could be trusted.

Kevin had refused to stop looking for the dog. Some kind person fed him and spent hours trying to gain his trust.
The Pooch Is Finally Safe
Chico finally understood that Kevin was a nice guy and he was just trying to help him.
The little lad was happy to have him at his side. He felt safe.
When Destiny finally sat down next to Kevin, she saw Chico on his side and exhaled. Never getting rid of that dog again was the promise the couple made to him.
Chico spent the night in a home after Destiny and Kevin found him a temporary foster. He began feeling better.
After saving the pup, the rescuers contacted Bella’s Animal Rescue, a Southern California based foster rescue and asked if they could help him find his happiness.
The doggo was taken in by the rescue.
Not long after, Chico went to live with another foster mama named Brooklyn and she fell in love with him. The dog was happy and felt loved; a great human took care of him and helped him feel loved.
Under the warmth of her love, the pooch started to stop thinking about his cruel owner.
While Chico loves chilling with his foster mom, he dreams of a forever home.
I really feel that the loyal pooch is about to find his people, someone who will love him a little too much like he so deserves.
