Homeless Man And His Dog Struggled To Survive Under A Bridge, Until A Miracle Happened

Kanza K.

We always see challenges coming towards us thrown by life, but the question arises, how do we tackle them? As for Solovino and owner, not so much.

So the two of them had to live together under a bridge and, somehow, survive. But as long they had one another, that what mattered. Right?

I get that Solovino’s owner loves him and is struggling to find anybody to help, but it would probably be best if he managed to place this poor dog in a situation where somebody actually cared for him.

The tides would turn for the better when a kind passerby saw their plight and wanted to help.

By the way, Solovino did have many issues even though he really liked his owner. He had been strung out and was living under a bridge to stay alive.

They needed to let it catch up with them because, for about four months, they lived like that, their lives having been completely turned upside down so quickly.

Nights would be frigid, and they froze. The days were also long, and Solovino was always looking for food that he could eat, which was not much.

However, a caring stranger spotted their plight and came to help them out.

Some kind woman, Maddie Tyssen, saw Solovino and her owner. Her dog, an older fellow called Zeke that loved to play with Solovino, made for comic relief in their little canine adventures.

She would later grow to love this sweet dog very much, and excited she did what little things she could to help.

She had Solovino treated by the vet, who then fed her. But as great as this was, it wasn’t a long-term fix, just a short-term workaround.

A New Chance For Solovino

But when his owner saw how much he was enjoying being around Maddie and her dog, Zeke, it became apparent that maybe re-homing the sweet boy was the right choice after all.

After all, he would get a second shot and wouldn’t have to rot away under a bridge anymore. So he pleaded with Maddie to take Solovino.

This decision wasn’t easy for her to come to terms with either, considering how much he adored his human.

She eventually said yes after lots of convincing, but made some demands. She also provided the owner with a phone so he could call him and show Solovino advancing over time.

After this, the owner said his farewells to his beloved companion and Maddie brought him home.

Under her care, he is a totally different person. Now that he has a home, dog sibling, and mom feeding him belly rubs every day, he is much more joyful creature.

It’s a bit sad Solovino will never see his dad again, but giving him up is the best decision for all.

His dad was tough, and he knew that his dog would be better off with someone who could care for him on a day-to-day basis. I hope he is fine wherever he may be.

As for Solovino, well, he has only just begun his new adventures, and I am so pleased to see him living the life that he has always dreamed of.
