Erik Hane has had a garden for many years that produces fresh vegetables that he eats from the garden all year. However, he is far from alone since there too is his Beagle mix, Nico, who will soon demonstrate just how much he adores himself fresh tomatoes.
Erik understood this when he saw his lower ground tomatoes getting magically removed from the plant. It was discovered soon after that the prime suspect was none other than his nemesis, Nico, himself and this is the reason he felt compelled to shift the tomato plant into a raised flower bed
Before long, he heard loud barking from the garden. Nico is not a big barker, and even before Erik opened the door, he already guessed what had happened from Nico’s behaviour.
I hear the dog barking his fool head off, so I come out to see what the fuss is. Put that tomato plant back so that my man can eat him some more. I hate him so much.” Erik posted about the experience on X, where he also showed pictures of how the dog reacted.

Nico stayed pissed off at Erik for quite a while, but eventually came to terms with the fact that his beloved plant was not going back where it belonged and sorted of accepted the new cold hard truth.
Erik, in his interview, said he was sort of done with the dream.
Unsurprisingly, his garden wasn’t dog safe for Nico anymore — or at least not in the usual way.
