Then one day a few kind hearted people heard about a little puppy that was all alone was found on some hills. These dog lovers were hundreds of miles away from there but they didn’t waste a single second and sprinted to the same place.
The puppy they found was a beautiful white girl shivering and curled up underneath the roots of a traditional tree once they finally arrived. When they got a little bit closer to him, he had two tears rolling down his cheeks. He was so sad.
Of course, that was just the beginning of his story, as his heart would soon be mended.
Broken Heart
When those kind strangers got closer to the puppy, they fed him. They served him a small sausage, and when he took a bite, he finished it off immediately. He still looked sad, but there was a twinkle of hope in his eyes. He looked like he was trying to say ‘thank you’ to me.
They even crowded around to inspect him when he filled his belly. They noticed that his coat had largely fallen out because of extreme dermatitis, and that he had minor injuries on his back and both of his eyes.
So these good folks caught on quick to the fact he needed assistance and quickly acted. But initially it was far from easy as this poor dog did not yet trust them and was still quaking in fear.
However, because he was so fatigued, he could not run far, so they quickly managed to put him in a foam crate, where they allowed him to rest. They, too, put a dish of food there for him so he would have something to eat and have the energy needed.
In the crate, we used a bit of insect-spray to get rid of the ants on his fur. This was of some benefit to them because his wounds some how got cleaned a bit. In a very short time, this puppy looked pretty, and he started gaining some resistance. He also became cheerful and would run around your legs. However, when you try to take him in your hands so that he can follow you, the puppy gets scared and runs away from you.
My friend and I decided to give him that afternoon in trying to convince him so that he could follow us, but it was in vain. Since it was getting dark, we decided to leave him in a crate and give him some food and fresh water. In the morning, when the sun had risen, we headed to see the puppy, and indeed, we found the puppy waiting for us in the room. We placed him in a foam crate and placed him in one of our cars and headed home.
Our city is to far from the market where we rescued the dog from that we had to stop at a certain house and our puppy was to sleep in a room. He was very exhausted, and with his unbearable journey, he just lay, and that was it. We laid them on a crate bed, and he slept for five hours.
When they reached the 3rd floow where the room was, the puppy had already grown hungry again and they took out some dog food. Fortunately, the food they brought was still pretty generous, and the puppy was happy to have his fill.
Following the dinner, the rescuers took off their shirts and used them as pillows for the puppy to lie on and they wore the thickest jackets to heat this unfortunate baby. The puppy slept through the night and he was all rested for part Two of the journey the next day.
And when the puppy woke up, they went for a short walk that lasted as long as seven hours. It that made it all worthwhile, the drive, because he was home.
Sweet Home
They got home that afternoon, they brought the puppy inside to rest and prepared some high quality food for him. They additionally bought a very fat cotton bed for him with some other thing that he will be needed in daily life.
While he was grateful for all these nice folks gave him, his favorite was his warm new bed. Kind of hard to blame him there, since he’d never slept in a place so comfy before that time.
He not only laid in and slept in his favorite bed, but also acted his happy, silly self. There was never a corner of the house that his amazing inquisitiveness did not take him to — he was forever bounding about — leaping, running.
Mostly, his rescuers asked him to go out to the balcony where he could bask in the sunlight. The sun healed his skin. Pair that with regular baths and skin care and you can see how this beautiful girl blossomed.
It only took a few months before this little pup had turned into a big boy, and my god had he blossomed into a beauty! He wasn’t malnourished anymore, his skin was clear, his hair a full crop, but the best part was his soul was full of pure bliss.
At last, he was getting all the love and attention after all that he had gone through. This puppy is now a big, happy, grown boy, and just a few months ago, he was alone, howling and crying.
Life writes some great chapters, but this one is in the category of the best.
