All dogs need is a decent family that will give them the affection they honestly deserve.
Unfortunately, too many dogs never even know what love is because they are given over to horrible people that abuse them.
These dogs are in deep sorrow and broken heart. But all they have is a faint desire that someone will come and save them to let them find love
Jax was one of the dogs that had a brutal owner who abused and starved him. Just when Jax had given up hope and stopped believing in living the fairytale, life offered him a fresh start.
Taking The Sweet Boi To The Vet In A Hurry
This was the case with a dog that was abused and starved and needed help from a good Samaritan. They called into the SMART Saving Missing Animals Response Team, a non-profit based in Palm Coast, Florida, that aids animals who have fallen victim to cruelty or abandonment.
Caroline Johnson, who runs the rescue, raced over.
Her heart broke into smithereens the first second that she laid eyes on the pup. Jax, their dog, was barely able to keep himself standing on his paws. He was quite skinny, too, and his ribs were visible.
The dog gazed up at her with the saddest eyes imaginable, like he was begging her to help him. When he got there, Johnson scooped Jax up in her arms and bundled him in a blanket.
She carried him to her car and placed in the passenger seat. The dog crept closer and closer to her until she eventually crawled right into her lap.
Jax TOLD himself not to look at her. The pup was thankful for Johnson for saving him and being so kind and caring.
Johnson bawled her eyes out as she drove him to the vet. Her deepest fear was that Jax would die. The pup was very skinny. He weighed only 21 pounds. He weighed around 45 pounds, I think.
The vet guessed him to be about eight months old.
Jax Fights Because Of Love
Hearing that, Johnson wrapped him in her arms, petting his paw and telling him he no longer has to be alone again. Jax melted into his rescuer’s arms — he felt safe. He had never felt like anyone cared about him in his life, until then.
She took him home. Jax was unable to walk, and every time he attempted to take a couple of steps, he fell down and began to tremble.
Johnson crawled in bed with him and Jax’s sadness started to fade. His sweet brown eyes looked full of hope. His tail has barely stopped wagging and he showered his foster mom with kisses. He was fighting for his life.
He has such a fighter spirit this boy. He wags and gives kisses, so happy to be near love after he was so badly abused by a man,’ Caroline wrote on Facebook.
And little by little, the doggo started to gain weight and strength back. One week later Jax Standing on his paws, Running in the back yard.
Caroline and his family further spoiled and doted on Jax. Within a month, the determined dog put on 20 lbs.
Now, he was a sober, powerful, and ready-to-fight dog, set for a fresh start.
Jax Has A Joyous, & Lovable Feeling
Johnson had found him a nice little family who were eager to spoil him and shower him with love.
Jax immediately bonded with his two new papas Eric and Steve. He went closer to them and welcomed them with countless sweet kisses. His family instantly was obsessed with him.
Eric told We Love Animals : “When he walked up and greeted us outside, we knew this was his well-being before entering.
Jax’s new family was amazed that despite all the pain and abuse he suffered in his previous home, he still had the ability to forgive and love humans.
And Jax is a blessing to them.
In my book, he was more of a blessing to us, than we are to him. He is our every morning sunshine when we wake up… He should have a good life okayy, Eric continue.
Down in Florida, Jax is living his best life. His eyes shine bright with endless joy for he has never been loved like this before.
