Joe and Marla were a happy couple living a mundane lifestyle in a quaint little Texas village surrounded by nature. So, of course, they could never imagine life without their best hooman friend and Samson moved in too.

By the way, my main character is not Samson, though he will be one of the main characters in the whole story, but one more fluffy pall from the street who suddenly appeared from nowhere and forever melted the hearts of these two young people.

It was late summer. While taking Joe’s regular walk in nature, Joe felt something behind the bush.
He was about to call Samson when it hit him, but it wasn’t him. He was walking up to a dog with shiny, golden fur — a skinny dog at that. So he saw this dog, who resembled his favorite cartoon character, Scooby, and automatically wanted to name the dog Scooby.
Initially, it appeared fine, but to watchful Joe, there was fear in the eyes of the puppy.
And then it occurred to him that a friend had mentioned he was in a well known dog dumping area. He saw it all clearly but, nonetheless, he did try his hardest to approach this beautiful golden creature.
As he had assumed, the dog took off as fast as his legs would move.
Joe was disappointed, but somehow was convinced that the story was not over yet.
A Light At The End Of Winter
The winter came, and cold weather in Texas meant some serious ass snow. Scooby Joe was only ever talking about Scooby
While Marla adored her dogs, even she could not fathom it whenhe claimed Scooby would return. However, no one could tell Joe that he was wrong for feeling what he felt.
In the same manner, as the saying goes, “The sun has to shine after the rain.” The spring passed, and one morning, he saw something in the bushes. That was definitely him.
Joe pulled a few pieces of dog food out of his pocket and came closer. Scooby remained a little frazzled, but he eventually made it near one and popped a dog-paw-shaped cracker into his mouth in short order.
At that point he vanished again, but Joe was confident of a happy ending.
A Summer He Will Never Forget
Trust the process Marla. With dogs it is never easy, but when you win their heart, trust me, all your patience will pay off” Joe said.
Then, out of the blue, a familiar dog showed in the distance. “Ha ha,” said Joe, beaming. “Told ya so! Scooby was coming.
Still, he didn’t totally trust Joe and Marla, especially when he got real close to them — like Scooby was close to Joe and Marla. Joe said there was “something missing” He quietly thought, “Ah yes,” before starting to yell for Samson.
Then, the magic happened. When Scooby spotted Samson, all of a sudden Scooby seemed to have a family member. He could see the joy shining in his eyes, and that was the last confirmation he needed that he could trust these folks.
Scooby became a little bro to Samson and finally had a family. However, Scooby also gave him something very special back, he believed in love again. Scooby was transformed from a miserable, dumped, “lone wolf” into a beautiful, happy dog who was able to regain his perfect smile.
A happily ever after
I suppose I would be justified if I said that in the end, Samson could have been envious of Scooby. Scooby was an overnight sensation among all dog lovers, but in response to greeting instantly one of the most loved dogs in the world, he gave much more. Check out that smile when he was brought into the vet!
What type of dog would be so thrilled going to a place like that? And as Joe has told Marla hundreds of times “you will see this dog is one of a kind,” he is 100% right.
Scooby also discovered who he is after a year and a half of being a lone wolf. Upon receiving DNA test results for Scooby, it turns out Scooby is 50% American Staffordshier Terrier, 12.5% German Shepherd, and 12.5% Great Dane.
Our Scooby Doo is one of the happyist dogs today and a happy big family. His TikTok account even made him an influencer.
