The Rottweiler is a powerful working breed with roots in the Mastiffs of the Roman legions – surely you can’t picture a Rottweiler quaking in his boots over a puppy that only weighs as much as one varies head?
But, as ridiculous as it sounds, one of these world-class guard dogs literally lacked the guts to leave the couch because a tiny puppy just looking for a snack wanted to play with him!
But once he became convinced her intentions were pure, an amazing relationship formed that lasts to this day.
A Funny heartwarming story.
Originally, The Sofa Was His Safe Haven
His Rottweiler sister, Dozer and Lilah are a match made in harmony.
However, all that changed when one day, their mum decided to add a new family member at their home in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Daisy, the little Frenchie who passed through there, rustled some serious jimmies among the Rottweilers quietly cantankerous Dozer.
Immediately when his new sister arrived at her new house, she had spades and mounted Dozer all hours needing him to play with. Not that — he just had no idea how to react.
Kimberly Ward told The Dodo, “He was a little bit afraid of her the first couple of days at an adjusting to each other period. At the time, there were little kids coming and going for short stays. One girl was small, sweet little bossy charismatic thing … She wanted him to play with her so bad but he didn’t understand that being a puppy was possible.”
And, the further he ran away from her, the faster she sped after him. He suddenly too processed that the couch was all he had left to climb, and Daisy didn’t stand a chance of getting on it, given how tiny she was.
That was his safe space for the first few days.
She is Why He Was A Puppy
No excuse of hers would be bad enough to deter her — Daisy was going to make darn sure that her plan worked. She would skip around her big brother, nipping a his toes and barking until Dozer finally succumbed to play with her.

Ward said it was on the first time he ran with her and realized she would come after him. So he realized, you know what? I can be interactive with this girl.
It was there that their ever-lasting connection began. However, Dozer attempted to match Daisy’s energy level in every possible aspect, and even with his much lesser energy compared to Daisy it was still great enough.
Chasing one another around the couch, running and playing outside, and hiding under the bed were things he loved too.
How Dozer played with his little sis without showing any aggression whatsoever was the most amazing thing. Ward said that he was aware he was meant to be gentle with her because she was small.
Dare I say, playful Daisy actually accomplished what no family member believed possible – she tugged the puppy right out of Dozer!
In fact, her love language was playfulness—and that was the language Dozer spoke the best.
New Sister Fits In Perfectly
Dozer and Daisy were great but little Frenchie had bonded with the family and Ward thought she needed someone around to match her energy.
Then Mocha moved into their Claremore home and the family grew. Daisy was a wonderful companion for, and little sister to, her Rottweiler siblings: another Frenchie made the perfect playmate.
From day dot Daisy adored Mini Mo (the name they gave her).
They play and wrestle, run and chase two or three hours a day, I bet, said Ward, Wow.
Mocha loved playing with the big boys when she grew up, too, but this was a different dog, a completely different personality from day1 than Daisy. She was laid back and liked to snuggle.
Dozer was another gentle soul with both Daisy and Mini Mo ( he would actually occasionally let her win his favorite game of tug-of-war).

And that is when they really all became one big, happy family.
As for whether Ward and the rest of her fam have entertained the idea of a super small sis or bro entering into the mix, Ward replied, “There’s always room for an even smaller sister or brother.” The more, the merrier — at least as far as Dozer and Daisy were concerned!
