Tracy, a pet owner in Western Washington, is accustomed to uninvited guests dropping by her home.
With two cats and a dog named Nelson to tend to, she is seldom shocked. Though one morning something shocked her to the core
Nelson woke her up at 5:30 a.m. to go potty, and when he returned asking his mom to let him back through the door, Tracy noticed he wasn’t alone…
Unexpected Visitor
It was only 5:30 in the morning, so Nelson happily wagged his tail on the porch as if nothing were out of the ordinary.
He stood there and waited for Tracy to open the door, without having any idea that his new friend he dragged along with him today was going to drive mom absolutely insane!

While letting Nelson into her home Tracy heard some commotion outside on the porch and looked up to see two glowing eyes peeking at her. She froze, totally shocked and unprepared for one more guest at that hour.
Then she remembered — it was the neighbor’s dog, Dozer!
In the video caption itself, Tracy wrote: “Nelson wakes me up at 5:30am to potty and look who followed him home”.
Dozer is a frequent visitor and sometimes rings her doorbell, saying he wants to come in. The two know each other well so it isn’t unusual for him to be around but this time, he surprised his hooman friend.
“HE SCARES ME A LOT AND I LOVE HIM DEEPLY. So did Dozer got his treat, a cuddle and back to bed,” she said.
You Never Know When It’s “Dozer Time”
This all started three years ago with Dozer coming to visit Tracy for the first time. She was doing some chores in her garage when he suddenly came appeared before her, hopping and wagging his tail like a friendly dog.
Dozer got a nice treat and a snuggle from Tracy, and then was on his way.
And the rest, as they say, is history!
Since then he has visited Tracy and her family on a regular basis, staying much longer than the time required to eat a snack.
Dozer has gotten used to the whole family including Nelson and the kitties. Typically he saunters into the house, Trace opens the door for him, he gets a treat, a snuggle and then off to one of the other rooms (or God knows what) where he takes a snooze.
At times, stays overnight and spends quality time with the whole family. But every single time after that, Dozer has asked them to let him out, while he walks away with his original family.
He walks to her house, and his owners know ALL ABOUT IT; it’s about half a mile away, Tracy says. And while Dozer’s hoomans don’t see themselves as family, they’re perfectly fine with him having a second family — after all, they know how well loved he is.
In another clip, Tracy adds: He comes from a half mile through farms and trees.
Now, it is a safe bet to say that Dozer has found his home in his Washington family. Someone owns him already and is quite attached to him but he (in his head, of course) likes to think that there is enough love in Tracy for him as well. She has, to put it mildly!
So, naturally he has a TikTok account where Tracy keeps uploading his daily visits.
Tracy and the family are fond of Dozer and just hope his little “between homes” stalking adventure doesn’t stress him out too much.
Tracy continues: “I do think that Dozer is one of a kind, and he’s quite content living between homes.
