Woman Was Stunned to Discover the Surprising Identity of the Mysterious Creature Gazing at Her from the Hillside!

Kanza K.

It must be torturing for all the stray animals that cannot find themselves shaded, fed, and hydrated on hot summer days.

One woman was at home on an especially hot day in California when she saw something on a hillside near her house.

She originally believed this strange creature was a coyote, but three days of staring at it made her realize that it looked like an abandoned dog … the same one being listed on Nextdoor for weeks.

The poor thing was probably so tired and overheat.

Helpless On A Hot Hillside

For a period of two weeks what many neighbors saw the dog roaming around their neighborhood but nobody reported it ‘missing’

Unsatisfied with the standards of care given, the woman contacted a local rescuer from Irvine, California – Suzette Hall.

“It was so hot that day. Hall said: “I was just so out of it, but I said to myself, ‘She has to be a lot better looking'” — Hall told The Dodo.

The dog was up in a hillside so far that any attempt Suzette made to climb up to her proved difficult, but luckily good neighbors came out and allowed Suscette access from their yard.

So still stick in the back of his head: Hall absolutely was not going to just roll over, the one thing for certain among all this nonsense.

After hiking up the slope to where the bushes were, she could see how poor the dog was.

Hall said, “You could see that for days she hadn’t had water.”

She then put out some tidy treats and faggots next to her along with a big basin of water. It was so hot for the dog she drank all the water within seconds but she wouldn’t go into the trap.

Hall said it felt like hours and hours had passed.

She finally managed to approach the dog and speak with her a little, but it still was not sufficient to trap her.

Only after she was employed in setting up fresh chicks did she finally attracted to her points, can be the last by employing, when left by employing plateau china than hang food most up directly voltarounding.

I said, “I put the chicken in the trap and took a few steps away and … I heard /the trap shut… I literally start bawling and turn. It made for such a difficult extraction due to her location, so great and sweaty, the tears just flowed,” Hall wrote in one of her posts on Facebook.

But when she finally observed the trapped dog, she was shocked to realise that it was in fact a very young Belgian Malinois puppy aged 7 months.

Since she was unable to walk the trap down the hill, Hall and a friend decided to call firefighters instead.

After weeks of roaming, these four firefighters managed to get her out of the sun for good.

A Little Ray Of Sunshine

Hall said it was very hot and she is a ray of sunshine, hence the name Sunshine.

That name was almost a perfect match to her character given her circumstances. They have no idea of the life that she had led, but they were sure that in time, drop by drop she will be a ray of sunshine.

“She’s just so scared. She allows you to pet her but just shakes. Hall said: “Well, that’s for being on the streets quite a long time.”

The vet in Irvine took in Sunshine immediately, and she was able to unwind. The clinic folks gave her lots of love with a little trust coming back as a result.

Sunshine later came to an awesome foster home when she was finished decompressing. And Brittany—her new foster mom—is an amazing dog trainer and exactly what Sunshine needs right now.

After that, it was nothin’ but sunny days for this sweet girl!

Sunshine’s foster mom became her furever mom, and Sunshine was officially adopted.

In one comment, Brittany said: “Was originally a foster but when she came up to me and gave me my first kiss it was a wrap and requested to adopt her.

Sunshine is now cherished, spoiled rotten, and spends her days with her canine big sister – Akeela.
