Fabulous place for the pooch, really. They can socialize with other pooches whilst there all day long.
Genuinely another dog parent — and a double-whammy, as it may sometimes be hard to get more than one play session in any given day — they also know that the staff there can arrange group activities for everyone, and what pup doesn’t need a solidly good time?
Some dogs get so pumped to go to the daycare that their excitement makes them act in the most hilarious manner.
Chessie was happy to see that her owner took her to one of the Michigan doggy daycare centers she loves best. But what she did next, even her mom was shocked.
Well That Was Unexpected
Chessie was over the moon and when they stepped inside Doggy Daycare and Spa, she immediately just hopped over the counter to say hi to her favourite staff there.
The poor owner laughed the entire time because she did NOT expect this reaction from her dog.
But according to daycare manager Makenzy Burman, this is not an unusual occurrence. Three times a week Chessie is at the daycare and this is how she always welcomes her.
She usually would have walked the table over to greet her and introduce herself without any conflict by saying hello, but not so this time. Well, she had to keep her cool given that her excitement was over the roof so it makes total sense why she needed to jump over the counter.
While Burman certainly didn’t expect it to be a shiny, new foster puppy, she has encountered excited dogs in many other ways.
What it actually means is that all the dogs REALLY enjoy going to the daycare and they are clearly all well cared for.
Internet’s Surprise
The entire incident was so funny that the rescuer staff at Michigan’s Doggy Daycare and Spa put up the CCTV footage on their facebook page.
Plenty of replies came flooding in too, as folk quickly piled in on the reactions to this excited dog.
Several pointed out the none too familiar way she shifted her coffee, with one writing: “The way she just casually shuffles her coffee tells me she’s an expert at this dog greeting.”
You see, I also noticed that and it instantly made me believe this was not the first time something similar had happened to her.
One other added: “How do you know your babies are being taken care of — without knowing they are being taken care of? They run out of the room to jump the counter and kiss daycare lady mommy!
If I needed any additional reassurance that all the dogs were loved and well cared for while they were at daycare, then this comment was it.
Finally, one person said: ‘As someone who works in doggie daycare we never mind this type of greeting.
Okay, well that confirms it. This is great to know, as everyone who works in daycares genuinely loves dogs and would gladly accept a greeting like this one!
