If only abandoned dogs could share their stories, we’d hear countless heart-wrenching tales.
Some would shout out against the cruelty they faced from their owners. Others would shed tears over the harsh realities of their lives.
And then there are those like Paris, who stay silent, too traumatized to speak.
Frozen in Fear
Paris, a sweet Pittie, was one of those silent souls.
She lay frozen under a car, trying to comprehend why her owner had abandoned her.

Her heart was shattered, and she felt utterly alone. One day, two women named Krissie and Ashley noticed her while at work.
They rushed over to help but hesitated, fearing that Paris might react aggressively out of fear. After a few moments of uncertainty, they decided to reach out for professional help.
The Call for Help
They texted LA Animal Rescue with a sense of urgency.
“We have a dog on our work property that may have been dumped. I’m hoping you can help me with this before security calls animal control,” Krissie wrote.
It wasn’t long before the rescue team responded. They teamed up with Eldad from Hope For Paws, who arrived on the scene in no time.
“Eldad jumped in the car to go get her. We knew nothing about them—no idea on health, temperament, gender, possible chip—nothing other than a dog was dumped and hiding under a car. But we said we would take her,” LA Animal Rescue shared on Instagram.
A Gentle Approach
Knowing Paris had spent an entire day frozen in fear, Eldad took a gentle approach. He offered her tasty treats and spoke softly to her.
To everyone’s surprise, Paris began to warm up.
She didn’t bark or try to run away; instead, she trusted Eldad enough to let him put a leash on her. Krissie and Ashley were overjoyed.
They realized that without Eldad’s intervention, Paris might have ended up in an overcrowded shelter with an uncertain fate—possibly even euthanasia.
Instead, she was on the path to a brighter future with people dedicated to finding her a loving home.
A Fresh Start
After getting a much-needed bath and a thorough vet check-up, Paris was ready for her new life in a foster home!
Thanks to the rescue teams efforts, she traded her cold spot under the car for a spacious yard at her new foster mom’s place.
Tania, a devoted volunteer at LA Animal Rescue, welcomed Paris with open arms. And guess what? Paris felt that warmth and happiness radiating back!
“We don’t think she was living anything close to a nice life before being rescued. She wasn’t angry; she was just sad. But she is definitely getting that sparkle back! Only good things from now on Paris,” the rescue wrote on Instagram.
Embracing Happiness
Now, nothing can dim the sweet smile on Paris’s face.
She finally feels safe and at home, far removed from the dangers of life on the streets. What once was a life of abandonment has transformed into one filled with love and endless opportunities.

She’s already showing signs of progress and revealing her true personality. Paris is turning into a happy-go-lucky pup who cherishes every second spent with people.
She adores belly rubs, loves playing dog games, and enjoys outings with Tania.
