We’ve done everything from cats and raccoons to even rats!
But make no mistake, today, our furry pal was socializing with someone he could only gaze at. Pssst — oh, and he does it perfectly!
A Quite Unique Friendship
Morty the Corgi enjoys outdoor moments just like any other dog.
As soon as his hoomans crack open their backdoor, he bolts to the yard; but sadly not for the reason you might be thinking.
He does NOT go out to zoom around or play with his brother – he goes out to see the fish!
Whenever we open the doors, Morty heads directly to the koi pond. He doesn’t want to injure the fish. He literally just loves them as Kingsley told The Dodo
However, one day while he was chilling with them, Morty got a little too near the pond and fell in!
But because he is so prone to getting lost, his hoomans signed him up for swimming lessons! However, there was one problem — Morty despises diving.
He would merely walk circles around the pool, barking at it and standing outside of it.
Morty would do something like this every time he was at the koi pond, but without yelling, just a slow-motion gaze as sorry the koi glided past.
True Friendship has No Limits
But when Morty gets way too excited, he barks WAY too loud.
We then see his hoomans attempt to lure him into the house with treats.
He loves coming to the koi pond but he gets too excited and I have to recall him with food so I don’t disturb the neighbors.” According to him, “He’s very food motivated.”
Fortunately, Morty’s humans discovered a way for their good boy to spend time with the fishies on dry land as well — by purchasing his plushies.
The moment he came upon one, he was totally in love! They had to bring some more out because he liked it so much.
However, they never quite replaced the real thing!
“He still loves his fish. I feel like it reinforced it. Then he got into the koi again,” he said,
Final Word
Dogs are just so precious.
They have so much love in their hearts that they give it out freely to everyone and everything alive.
And that is why we must keep them safe at all costs! Its up to We as hoomans to make this world a good place that our furry friend could have all they need to live happy and healthy life.
They deserve it.
