Even worse, when a Broome County resident found a plastic bag tossed on the side of the road in New York. Originally thought to be garbage, there was sad twist waiting inside the bag.
They contained two-day-old puppies who had been tossed from a moving car. These little creatures, still blind and deaf in the dark blackness of night sought refuge from mother.
It is nearly unbearable to imagine these innocent puppies being so heartlessly thrown away. And that fear, and confusion of: how did they end up alone in the world like this…together with also being robbed from their mother.
But in the midst of that tragedy, there was a light at the end of their story… A random happening they crossed paths with and it changed everything for them.
Rescuing the Helpless
Without knowing what was in the bag, the person walking by decided to take it up and this is where their lucky discovery began. Curiosity turned to shock as the bag started rocking. Inside, they found nine tiny live puppies in need of immediate support.
The Broome County Humane Society posted this horrific occurrence on its Facebook account: “9 sweet little puppies tossed from a car in an old bag. A passerby initially saw the bag as trash that was left to be disposed of and soon realized it was 9 teeny, tiny pups who are just a mere two weeks old! Their eyes and ears haven’t opened, yet.
In this rescue, the Good Samaritan’s on-the-spot thinking and human compassion really are what make it happen. They acted quickly and without a second thought to make sure the puppies got the care they needed.
Their act of kindness saved their lives and up until to now, it sets them free from addiction while at the same time leads not only joy but recovery.
A Race Against Time
Sensing the dire need of the hour, this person brought immediate food for puppies and then took them to The Broome County Humane Society by named Binghamton in New York. He was brought in and the Veterinary team conducted comprehensive examinations.

But the puppies were still lucky despite of their sufferings as all remain in good health. The staff was unable to immediately move past the heartache of imagining that this is what children see in their first years.
The shelter staff was working around the clock to make sure that these helpless beings had everything they needed in order to live and be happy. Their compassion and 10+ years experience saw to it every pup was given the care needed.
Finding Safety and Love
After being cleared by the vet, they have been moved to a loving foster home where they will now be allowed time and space for healing from their shaky start in life. Their foster Mom stepped in to give them 24 hour care which meant hours of cuddles and love. Her patient attention allowed the puppies to grow and flourish receiving human kindness for the first time in their lives.

The puppies are all doing fantastic!! They are getting a lot of love and attention from somebody who has been fostering puppies for many years, she is also a vet tech…..” Amberly Ondria told Newsweek.
These puppies not only found safety in a foster home, but they came to be loved like Family. They received such kindness, love and support that the only way out now was to grow stronger with every passing day,fat or no fat.
A Bright Future Ahead
Their tiny bodies may be fragile but with every passing day they are slowly getting stronger and receiving love like never before from a foster mom. Once they are eight weeks old, they will be up for adoption and can start looking for their forever homes to continue prospering. In the meantime, they bask in a temporary caregiver’s affection.
None of this heartwarming rescue story would be happening if not for the good Samaritan, who took a moment to check out what looked like trash in road side grass. Their compassion provided these two vulnerable puppies a gift in life, another chance at happiness.

Grateful to all who helped save these precious lives and give them a shot at a brighter tomorrow. The narrative of this extraordinary animal from rejection to acceptance is a story that reflects both the good and evil in human nature, and which serves as a reminder of our commitment to protect those who cannot defend themselves.
