Mocha was discovered by a compassionate rescuer named Sabria Hector from the Montego Bay Animal Haven. When they first met, Mocha was in rough shape—she had a severely injured leg and was extremely shy, barely able to move around with the splint on her leg. But with a lot of love, care, and medical attention, Mocha began to heal both physically and emotionally.
As weeks passed, Mocha’s true personality started to shine. She came out of her shell and quick ly became a favorite among everyone at the shelter. One day, Sabria brought home a newborn kitten named Grogu. Unsure of how Mocha would react, she initially kept them apart. To her surprise, Mocha immediately took on the role of a loving mother.
