Poppy and William, two pups who were found paw in paw walking down the street as they looked inseparably dangerous together, barely looked like dogs at all, as they were extremly malnourished and nearly hairless.
The worried public couldn’t leave these poor dogs like this so they took them to a local vet who brought them into the care of the RSPCA.
Adorable Duo
Due to the condition of these pups, many assumed they required emergency treatment. And that still didn’t guarantee they would survive.

Our hearts ache thinking of when they were first rescued: so traumatized — they were so withdrawn and so sad. RSPCA Kent Isle of Thanet Branch animal welfare officer Hannah White said: ‘It was obvious they had been used in breeding and were probably no longer useful for this before they were so heartlessly dumped.
Those best friends had a long road of recovery ahead of them, or so everyone thought.
Brand-new Doggos
Three months later and Poppy and William were like new dogs.
They are so lively and changed that you cannot even recognise them, she said.

Now, after finding loving homes, both of these pups are happy and healthy, regaining their fur, as well!
They were at a foster home recovering but are now searching for a forever home where they can spend every hour together.
Hannah added: “These two have been through so much together and are completely bonded – William is very sight impaired, so he sees with Poppy and they do everything together, so we hope they will stay together when they are adopted.
Importance Of Care
These two pups are proof that love will work wonders for the animal.
It really demonstrates how dedicated the staff are to giving every animal in their care a chance to get the treatment they deserve! The fact that even when these pups were in such bad condition, the staff never gave up on them.

While Poppy and William faced lots of heart-wrenching moments in their life, thanks to the incredible work of dog lovers, these pups are now leading a life full of love, laughter and excitement that will never end.
In no time I am sure these puppies will be going into a forever home where they can live the life they deserve.
Good luck, guys!
