Nicole Grimes, of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, spent years thinking about her long-lost friend – who she was forced to give up as a child, to a couple who wanted to adopt her. Even when she was just a 14-year-old girl, the soft spot for her non-poofy furred Pomeranian-Poodle mix was still there.
Nicole got herself a husband and a gorgeous little girl, a family of her own, 7 years later. She was checking her Facebook feed one day, and then suddenly, her past memories came in front of her eyes for a moment.
Nicole and Chloe had 4 beautiful years together
Nicole was only 10 when her grandma gave her the greatest present ever: Chloe the furrball. Nicole was weak over a fluffy Pom-Poodle mix who took on little real estate.
Since Nicole was an only child, she immediately knew Chloe would be her little sister! All those years later, Nicole and Chloe had become good friends.
At the age of 14, however, her dad landed a new home-based job that required serenity and silence — an alien concept for a loud, barking Chloe.
In the Grimes household, Chloe was getting all the love she could handle but ultimately the family surrendered her — against their will — to the Washington Area Humane Society in Pennsylvania.

She Found Her Long-Lost Dog
Fast-forward seven years, and a friend of Nicole’s shared a post about a senior dog that needed to be adopted out of a local shelter.
The dog’s name was Chloe, and he said she was 11 years old—exactly how old Chloe would be today, according to him. Not to mention, this pooch looked an awful lot like her old pal!
In a moment of unfiltered thought, Nicole decided to take in this girl, as she was like her old dog. The new Chloe was adorable first up! She was loving, affectionate and friendly even at her old age.

Memories Back From The Dead
This doggo gal started licking the daylights out of her when she first brought Chloe back home just like her previous Chloe used to! Her moves, her energy, everything was just like her childhood puppy!
No one believed Nicole saying her new dog was pretty much a duplicate of her lost Chloe, but the resemblance was too uncanny delay,So, she went to see for herself!
Upon going to Clover Farm Veterinary Services, in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania, to have Chloe’s microchip scanned, she got a reminder!
And indeed this was her childhood dog after all, thanks to a nine-digit microchip number, Nicole confirmed. Her miracle came out of the blue after all, these years with a reunion with her long-lost dog!
Nicole remembers, “That was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life.

Reunited After Seven Years
Best of all, Nicole and Chloe are catching up with each other for the first time in a new location. This lovely doggo lady now has two additional housemates — Nicole’s other half and their child!
And then, just like that, they lost almost a decade to Nicole and Chloe, and yet somehow, Chloe seems overly jubilant to finally be with Nicole — whatever craziness went down between them at least a decade ago, the two have never looked more connected!!
