You do not contain that sweet love for a furball. Fort Worth, Texas, dog lover turned breeder Bethany Franco knows this more than most.
He never imagined that when a Dachshund made its way into his life a few years ago, he would become such a quick lover that something wonderful would follow.
But that is precisely how it turned out when this guy took the plunge to become a Texas Dachshund breeder. He has nurtured countless of the little fur balls since then and shared plenty of heartwarming moments with him.
But the most special moment was when he presented one of his Miniature Dachshunds, Dad, to his new baby son. This is an adorable to the core scene.
The arrival of a child is quite possibly the most amazing moment in life for us humans and animals too, yes, dogs! Breeders, like in Bethany, see a new fur baby arrive, but each time is different.
So, one day in August, a Smitten the Miniature Dachshund was born on her premises in Fort Worth, Texas, and this dog-mom had the proud privilege of licking homegirl straight out of birth as a display of immeasurable love.
But that day, Bethany remembered Dad, who felt very much forgotten, undeservedly. That was why she decided then and there to bring the puppy over to see him and let Dad lick him. Other than that, she and her staff wanted to see his reaction.
The clip was too “cute” for her not to share with her Instagram followers, so she uploaded it via her account @ lulutheween after filming the scene on her phone.
There was a small brown puppy in her hand coming closer to his Dad that blabbered of happiness beyond where the heart could feel.
Dad stared at him for a few seconds, sniffing him in confusion before realizing who it was. He lit up with joy in his eyes and licked the kid.
Possibly the best part in this video is the reaction of the other Dachshunds who were jumping around their dad and his baby, trying to hold back their joy and excitement from experiencing this lovely moment.
Of course Bethany was thrilled herself, and the caption of the video says it all — “Can not believe I caught this on camera.”
And it wasn’t just the people in Fort Worth who got to witness this heartwarming sight, but many others around the state and around the world because Bethany posted this video on Instagram.
